The medieval festival
On the second Saturday in June, Orange turns into a medieval city.
A medieval encampment with strolling entertainers and the court of miracles surround the statue of Raimbaud II.
Jugglers and acrobats animate the city to the sound of fifes and tambourines. The public attend contests and marvel at wolves’ shows, goblins and minstrels.
In the best Gaul tradition, the day ends with a big feast where we eat grilled pork with wines of the region.
