The cotes du Rhone’s wines were already famous during the Roman era, when we savoured with delight the “wine of Vienne”. This winery prospered by the Papacy, in Avignon in the 14th century and was cultivated by the Templars in the 12th century. The land owes its characteristic to pebbles from the Rhone, which accumulate heat during the day and conserve this heat during the night.

The cotes du Rhone’s winery produces principally AOC red wines - Appellation d’Origine Controlée. It is spread-out and diversified, which creates a range of world wide exceptionally rich and varied wines.
